She has since continued her artistic studies through workshops, training under such noted artists as Yoriyasu Masuda, Enric Mestre, Juan Carlos Albadalejo, David Reid and Nassio Bayarri in the use of various media including ceramic, bronze, lithography and Japanese paper.
In her own practice Beatriz has established herself as a sculptor concentrating mainly in carving stone, although she also works with bronze, iron, ceramic, wax and snow. Indeed, she may actually be described as a true multi-media artist. Her personal work is an investigation of form concentrating on and around the human foot, often in its earliest manifestation. This work is a metaphor for the steps and paths humans take on their journeys through life; another favourite form for this same exploration is based around the ladder as a further symbol for the steps we take.
She has taken part in many international symposia, including Rosario, Argentina; Lima, Peru; Santiago, Cuba; Port Talbot, Wales; Montevideo, Uruguay; Quebec, Canada; Boulder, Colorado, Brusque, Brasil. She also exhibits regularly throughout Spain as well as abroad. She is a founder member of Banda Ancha (Broadband), a group of four female sculptors who work together in various venues around the world, and whose main means of communication as artists is via the internet.
Beatriz takes students in her own studio where she teaches various aspects of Fine Art as well as teaching art to young people.
She has worked in the Archeological Museum at Lliria, Valencia as a specialist restorer in Roman Ceramics and historic glass. She has also made maquettes of the Roman Baths and Sanctuary of Mura, one of the most important Roman remains in Europe.
